The City of La Quinta and SilverRock Resort proudly announce the return of SilverRock Golf Academy’s junior golf clinics, to be held from July 6 through August 12 at SilverRock Resort in La Quinta. The clinics will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 am - 10 am. Juniors aged 5 - 17 are invited to participate for $10/day or $100/summer series (12 days).
This year marks the third series of the junior clinics, which introduce golf to junior players and give them an opportunity to develop their skills.
Participants will be exposed to golf techniques, competition strategies, and the chance to meet other juniors with similar interests. Topics covered will include: Rules, Etiquette, Safety, Pre-Shot, In-Swing Fundamentals, Short Game, Putting, Driving, and Fairway Woods.
Each session requires a minimum of 5 students and is limited to 20 students. Advance registration is highly recommended, as each session averages 15 - 20 students. Please call the Golf Shop at (760) 777-8884, ext. 3 to register or for more information.
